Brand New 05:48
Brand new, under a blanket of blackness, moonlight guides my sight toward a feeling. I focus more simply on each breath I take. The fireworks inside of me seem to be putting on quite a show. Electric excitement pulses within. My curiosity is bursting open and I’m… Something really big is on its way. It’s not slowing down. I’m making room for it. The seasons will change, and we’ll start again, brand new. Imagine an infant, we’re brand new. Restart so many times in this life. I fall down another rabbit hole. I’m not going in alone. As the world is spinning round and round, inside out and upside down. Here we go again, making room for change. Our branches multiply, regardless of falling leaves, further we reach. Steady and persistent as we rise, we know the seasons will change, and we follow. Arms stretched through the sky, our roots connect. And we’ll begin again, return to one, no end.

AYA 06:47
Who the fuck are you? You don’t know a thing about who I am or what I do You criticize me so you don’t have to face yourself, ah-ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah Intimidated, flat and deflated, hiding deep in shadows, sized up, belittled from the sidelines Wasting energy, throwing your disapproval at me… Winds are blowing in all directions, ah-ah-ah You feel young and invincible. Ah but under the sun, you dissolve like the snow. Fragile mortal, I can hear your cry. Weep no more. Who is anyone? Only a speck of dust, and you and I are no exception, ah-ah-ah I’m no one, you’re no one. When you judge me, you judge yourself. And who are you? The wind blows harder everyday. When you least expect, it’ll blow you away. I’m singing to feel alive while I am. The wind blows harder everyday. So small, I smile…

Oasis 03:01
Sure we could stay here and argue all day, ’til I let you win or you let me in. But I’m growing old and the walls are growing mold, think we need some air. I could run, but where? Got so used to letting go, a valuable lesson to learn or so I’ve heard. I was looking for more, more, oh well. It was worth a try. Crawling through your desert, heavy as lead. Searching for my oasis, run out of hiding places. Somehow survived the sandstorm in your mind. And I tried to brush it off, but enough is enough. Could you have finally lost? I find peace of mind, all this space, all this time. And if you’re wondering why, look to the open sky. And it was worth a try. I hope you learn someday to choose love over pride. Ah, it’s time… Goodbye. Goodbye. Goodbye. It won’t be long ’til I find what feels like home. But first thing is first. Tomorrow I’ll be quenching my thirst. And soon I’ll know what space is, me and my oasis.

Each man on this train is equally fragile, equally afraid. We watch all the walls crumble down, suddenly compassion is found. We’re going home. Each man on this train is thinking 'bout how he could have prevented it. Can I accept we’re heading into the sunset? Looking into the eyes of men, women, and children, wondering if we didn’t give all we have. One at a time, each mind would realize in an instant, his life could become a thing of the past. Like a, like a, like a moth to the light, To a, to a, to a place with no lies, Like a, like a, like a moth to the light... Waking from a dream, each man on this train. Like a moth to the light, off the tracks, into flight, waking from a dream... Each man on this train.

Lying in the grass, trying to hide myself from the lion... Even though I know he sees me, and he's about to make his move, I keep perfectly still, just in case I get the chance to run. I will not surrender. I have too much left here to do. Even though nature's design doesn't give me that much time, I will not stop 'til I'm through. I'm still waiting for the chance to run. There's not a moment's rest at the bottom of the food chain. You're always on the run at the bottom of the food chain. There’s never peace of mind at the bottom. We're always running, running, running, running, running, running, running away. Catching up on breath, I'm so tired. And I'm just trying to find another place to hide. At least I'm alive, but I'll be sacrificed so a lion doesn't die. At the bottom of the food chain, you gotta always watch your back. At the bottom of the food chain, you never know what might attack. Ain't no rest, no peace of mind, you're running all the time. At the bottom of the food chain, you gotta always watch yourself. Here comes the lion, ain’t nowhere to hide so I'll put up a fight and my only hope now is maybe my next life... At the bottom of the food chain, there’s never peace of mind. At the bottom of the food chain, we’re running all the time. You could cry out, you could raise your voice, in the end you don’t have a choice. At the bottom of the food chain, watch your back. Bottom of the food chain, at the bottom of the food chain… I never quit, never gave up, guess that means I won. I fought it out to the end and now the fighting's done. I'm feeling like I got a warm spot in the sun. I'm feeling like I got a warm spot in the sun.

With the tides, tuning our minds. Singularity, fall to rise... We just shared a vision, and we’ve known it all along... There’s a web that’s almost too delicate to witness, In between your eyes and all you see. Meet me at the intersection. With the tides, tuning our minds, fall to rise... I always knew I was you, same view of the sky. No end. Until there’s light in every direction, breathe in, breathe out, and illuminate the space. Little specks… Keep an eye on the sky 'cause it never lies, all things changing at all times. Energy never dies, it shifts. Let it flow, can’t stop the movement, or the weary from breaking down, or the earth as it spins around. Can’t stop the movement. I like when it rains, the mess that it makes, and I like watching plastic things break cause it's poetry. Nature uncontained, wrinkles on faces, and weeds in a garden. Erupting volcanoes, cracks in the pavement, dancing when it pours, I love a thunderstorm. Singing in the rain, rolling in the dirt, kissing the Earth, the winds of change blowing free… Energy, I love the mess it makes. Keep an eye on the sky 'cause it never lies, all things changing at all times. Energy never dies, we shift. No end… Little specks on the wall, keep moving… No end.

I cry for you ‘cause you make your life harder than hell. It’s easier than you make it. Think you forgot how beautiful it is beyond that wall you’ve built. What’s missing here is love for yourself. And as you heal, so will everyone else. Unload all your shots on me and get a move on. Now all your friends are strangers, like you don’t know who we are. And only you can bring yourself back. It’s just not that hard. What’s missing here is love for yourself. And as you heal, so will everyone else. Unload all your shots on me and get a move on. It’s easier, easier… It’s easier than we make it. Do you remember feeling fearless? Do you remember feeling fearless? It’s just love for yourself. It’s just love for yourself. It’s just love, it’s only love. Don’t be so scared. Do you remember feeling fearless? Do you remember feeling fearless? I know you’re lost, but I know you’re brave. You’ve been my rock, and you’ll find your way. It’s easier than we make it.

Fall safely, awake me. You’re here now, no fear now. You’re here now, no fear now.

If I were a song, I’d be like the leaves. I’d change all the time, all the time. If I were a song, I’d be heavy. And I’d find light. And every rest would express the expanse inside. If I were a song, I’d be like a tree, always connected to my roots, but always stretching out my space. And I’d change all the time, all the time. I’d lead with my heart. I’d leave behind my mind. And of course, as a song, I could go on and on and on and on and on, uncover every emotion…
10.
But if you were a song… If you were a song, I’d sing you all day. I’d play your tune by heart and I would never stop. Your melody would be so sweet and simple. Your melody would put me right at ease. All of the tension that builds, it somehow releases. Your melody turns war to peace. If you were a song, you’d move me like the wind. You’d sweep me off to places I could not predict. If you were a song, you’d spin me like the Earth. You’d flow through me like water and you’d heal me where I hurt. Not a typical orchestra, I hear the birds and the roar of the ocean. You know you sound like the wilderness with harmonies from up in the trees. You’re painting pictures more colorful than our eyes can see. I feel your pulse and I hear your heartbeat. I don’t know how to stop listening. Your melody is oh so sweet and simple. Your melody, it puts me right at ease. All of the tension that builds, it somehow releases. Your melody turns war to peace. Polyrhythms in the atmosphere, you take away my fear, endless tune that haunts my ears. And it’s like a wave, how naturally, it rolls out, in again. We love and grieve. We bury and we create… a new life each new phrase. I could try to figure you out, analyze and write you down. Then you throw your colors around and I’m cradled in the sound. Joy from pain, how strange the constant change. If you were a song, I’d sing you all day long. Lifted to dance, as if my feet were carried by the breeze. I’d be weightless and helpless in a daydream in the sky, transported here where you give me sight. Your melody is everywhere that I go, a symphony with nature as conductor. Every vibration within you I’ve given into. Your melody turns war to peace.

Existence 04:47
There is a place that you should know, a state of my mind, you ought to go. I’ll take you there with me. Close your eyes and you will see the love that glows, the love that grows. Take me in… Take me into your dream, into your dream, where we sway to the beat of the tambourine. By the rhythm of the thunder, taken in, taken out, we’re taken under. Behind the mind’s eye, awoken from our slumber. Open up the child inside who is bound to wonder. Take me in… There is a place that you should know, a state of my mind, you ought to go. I’ll take you there with me. Close your eyes and you will see the love that glows, the love that grows. Riddled by the music churning inside, melodies that twist and wind like wild, climbing vines. The meaning of existence in a simple smile, and if you only listen, more than paradise. Take me in, take me away. What a sight to see, your hiding place. Even fear won’t find us here. Tightropes stretched out from pole to pole, eyes up, no safety net, no ground. Another balance between tension and release… Another battle fought between the 1 and 5, another tug of war between the Earth and sky. The meaning of existence in a simple smile, and if you only listen, more than paradise. The meaning of existence in a simple smile, and if you only listen, more than paradise. Take me in, take me away. Through the open gates, suspended in space, figure eights, back to a state of grace. Take me, take me away.
